3d Layout Design

Once the concept is solid, I move into the 3D space. Using a combination of simple geometry and rough asset placement, I create a "blockout" of the scene. This stage is all about establishing the major forms, scale, and composition. I focus on creating a clear visual hierarchy and guiding the viewer's eye through the environment. I prototype different camera angles and key character placements to ensure the layout supports the intended action and storytelling. This is a highly iterative process, where I rapidly test and refine the spatial relationships between different elements until the scene feels balanced and purposeful I utilize Blender's node-based material system to create and customize shaders, paying close attention to color, roughness, metallic properties, and normal details. I also leverage Blender's UV unwrapping tools to ensure textures are applied accurately and effectively to the 3D geometry.
